Brenda founded The Awakening Group (formerly known as Awakening WoMan) in 1993. Her clear vision was to empower each individual to live their true potential. Since then The Awakening Group has grown to offer programs for organizations and businesses to bring teams together, effectively communicating to deliver results across the board.

Brenda B.Soc.Sc.(Psych) AHHA is a Holistic Counsellor, Trainer and Consultant with her practice grounded in over 20 years experience. She is the founder and Director of The Awakening Group accredited training programs and workshops conducted throughout Australia.
Over the past 20 years Brenda has taught at universities, lectured at conferences, appeared on TV and radio, written for magazines and conducted seminars throughout Australia and NZ. She has facilitated numerous workshops for private, corporate and governmental organizations on personal growth and professional development.
Throughout her career Brenda has combined her personal commitment to her own self growth and extensive, yet unique, professional training including Psychology, Art Therapy, Tantra, Eco-psychology, Soul Centred therapy, Kinesiology, Family & Organizational Constellation, Aromatherapy, Massage, Essences, The Work of Byron Katie, Emotional Freedom Technique and more.

Judith Richardson

Judith is a holistic counselor with more than 30 years of experience working in personal development, communications, health and in both the community and corporate sectors. Through her practice Judith seeks to reconnect people with their inner knowing and life’s purpose so they can achieve greater peace and personal freedom. Her holistic approach encompasses a wide range of methods including Holistic Counseling, Individual Family Constellations, The Work of Byron Katie and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Judith’s nationally accredited Effectiveness Training Programs have been popular for many years. As a highly skilled facilitator Judith delivers powerful messages in a warm, relaxed and engaging manner. She inspires positive change and empowers personal growth. Her courses include Parent Effectiveness Training, Women’s Workshop, The Work of Byron Katie, Communication Skills for the Workplace, Conflict Resolution in the Workplace, Organisational Constellations, Family Constellation, Visualisation and Emotional Freedom Technique. Her courses are designed to deliver skills and impart a philosophy which enables people to create effective and lasting relationships, whether it be in the workplace in families or in education

Rosie Stave

Since her first introduction to The Work in 1995, Rosie has been passionate about this tool for freedom. She lived and worked with Katie for 2 years setting up the Center For The Work in Barstow, California. Rosie was the primary facilitator at The Center For The Work when Katie was unavailable. Since her return to Australia in 1998, she has been offering workshops, retreats, private sessions and evenings of The Work throughout Australia and New Zealand. She is a certified facilitator of The Work and brings a depth of wisdom and truth, honesty and compassion, love and laughter to this life changing work.

Margarete Koenning

Margarete has worked for twenty five years in the therapeutic fields. She is a senior Gestalt trainer for various Gestalt institutes as well as providing ongoing supervision for Gestalt students and therapists. She trained in Family Constellation in Germany with Victor Chu and Robert Langlotz in 1999.
Margarete’s diverse training and experience includes being a service provider for North Coast Aboriginal Corp, supervisor for Lifeline and currently runs Family Constellation training in NZ and Australia. Since 1992 she has run her own practice on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Cate Crombie

Cate Crombie B Ad Voc Ed. is an internationally accredited trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) based in the USA and an ETIA Effectiveness Training trainer. Until recently, she was for many years the CEO of ETIA Ltd, a not-for-profit registered training organization coordinating effectiveness communication programs. Cate has worked in numerous roles in Australia, NZ and Singapore with parents (being a mother of 3 girls) and schools for over 25 years including offering community education in interpersonal communication, parenting and anti-bullying as well as school/community liaison. Cate currently facilitates Compassionate Communication workshops and sessions in a variety of settings including community centres, corporate organizations, disability organizations, and private as well as state schools.
Cate has a deep commitment to building community and making family life and life for individuals easier and more wonderful through acknowledgement, encouragement, environment, enlightened education and training.

Maria Dolenc

Maria is an accredited  addictions counsellor (NAADAC) and a Clinical Member of GANZ in private practice. She is a trained in Family Therapist,  Gestalt therapist (and is currently Co-Director of Gestalt Therapy Sydney Training centre. and Family Constellations facilitator having studied with world renowned facilitators. She uses other modalities in her work such as The Work of Byron Katie. Maria has worked with youth at risk and families in crisis in Sydney.  She has worked as the Primary therapist and Family Therapist, and is now Clinical Supervisor at South Pacific Private, a treatment centre specializing in  addictions, depression and compulsive behaviours. Maria has lectured at Nature Care College in Holistic Counselling.

Ana Lamaro

As a veteran of both Homoeopathy and Acupuncture, Ana brings a wealth of clinical experience to her private practice and teaching on the body/mind, a subject at the very heart of holistic health-care practice. She takes a psychodynamic approach to her classical homoeopathic practice, and is currently engaged in research in this field. Ana has a background of teaching in Homoeopathy, having lectured and tutored at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, the Southern School of Natural Therapies and at Victoria University. Through V.U., she had the opportunity to develop Homoeopathic curricula at both Bachelor's and Master's degree levels.
