Systemic Training for Professionals: Individual sessions and Groups

We are very excited to invite all The Awakening Group students, past and present to Systemic, Structural and Family Constellation training with Dr Guni Baxa an international facilitator of this dynamic approach to therapy. 

Every system, whether our family, professional or social environment, or the organizations we belong to, is a field of force in which we live and evolve. When we are born, we take a place in our family system and receive from our parents and ancestors not only a genetic, hereditary legacy, but also a set of beliefs, thought and behaviour patterns.

All of these systems have a determining influence on our way of thinking, feeling, and living : they affect our ability to act freely, to be happy or unhappy, and to succeed or not in the work we do. They have an influence on our state of health and well-being, are an important cause of our illnesses, and are responsible for whether our relationships with other people and the world are positive or conflictual. Through Family and Systemic Constellations, we can learn to free ourselves from that which limits us, and get to see new possibilities of action. With the help of constellation work many people regain their inner strength and dignity, teams can find the necessary resources for solving their internal conflicts, and businesses discover better ways to organize themselves, advancing more effectively toward their goals.

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?

This course is designed for people who are already working within the therapeutic field, eg. psychotherapists, counsellors, teachers, social workers, students…

Practitioners are drawn to this work as it provides a strengthening healing capacity on a deep soul level that works from deep respect and humility to acknowledge what is trying to be seen and resolved in families and other systems. It is currently used as a reconciliation process throughout the world with individuals, schools, communities, and organizations.

TRAINING PROGRAM

  1. Systemic structural constellations/ family constellations - theory, roots of this work….
  2. Different types of structural constellations eg. Miracles and goals/ setting up symptoms and illnesses/ setting up obstacles and resources.
  3. Demonstrating structural/family constellations.
  4. Discussing constellations.
  5. Some hands on experience for practitioners to try out this approach.
  6. How can structural/ family constellations be used in one on one therapy?

Dr Guni Baxa (Austria)

Dr. Guni Baxa has extensive experience as a psychotherapist (in systemic family therapy) and as a supervisor and instructor for systemic family therapy in Germany. In the past ten years her emphasis has been in training counsellors and psychotherapists in constellation work (including organisational constellations) throughout Europe and abroad. She has published several articles on constellation work and is co-editor of the book "Verkoerperungen". Workshop participants have described Guni as "warm, kind, feminine, humorous, and outstanding in being able to achieve profound outcomes."
