In response to demand from the therapeutic community, students and The Awakening Group graduates we have initiated this Systemic/Structural and Family Constellation Training Program specifically tailored for those who work with clients in individual settings. Our aim is to provide students with a solid foundation of understanding and practice of Systemic Constellations.
A growing number of people working in the helping professions are turning to Systemic constellations to address clients’ presenting symptoms and issues. The simplicity and heart-centred quality of this work is profound, deep reaching and insightful.
The course will provide the participants with both, hands on experience as well as a theoretical background of systemic constellation work. It will give participants fundamental skills of systemic constellation to enable them to integrate this powerful approach to therapy, into their field work.
What is a Constellation and Who Benefits?
Structural Constellations looks to work with issues such as decision making; internal archetypes: adult/child/wise inner selves; illness; counsellor/client relationships; and much more within individual settings to bring about support, balance, insights and clarity.
Practitioners are drawn to this work as it provides a strengthening healing capacity on a deep soul level at the same time working with deep respect and humility. Constellations give both the client and counsellor insights and opportunities to acknowledge what is trying to be seen, through the presenting symptoms such as illnesses, feelings, conflicts and sufferings. Thus to be seen and then if necessary resolved in families, in our internal system as well as other systems in the community. Furthermore this work is far reaching and is currently used as a reconciliation process throughout the world with individuals, schools, communities, and organizations.
Who is the Training For?
This course is designed for anyone who is aspiring to integrate constellations in their practice or profession. Sessions have been scheduled on weekends and evenings to accommodate practitioners already working within the therapeutic field who are attracted to this work, such as psychotherapists, counsellors, teachers, social workers, case workers, alternative health practitioners and in any helping professions.
Students will have opportunities to do their own inner work and work with their own family systems in order to be able to guide and support others to do the same.

These groups are facilitated to discuss and reflect upon constellations that have been carried out in the weekend training days. Reflection is aimed at understanding systemic principles in relation to relationships: triad parent/child relationships; couple relationships; second/third families; health/illness (mental and physical); adoption; suicide; death; perpetrator/victim relationship; war; migration etc. an The groups are an opportunity to discuss particular issues pertaining to constellations, explore monthly discussion topics, and participate in creative learning exercises.
The space is opened up at times for clients to join the group enabling students to have hands on experience facilitating constellations under supervision.
The Reflective Pods and Individual sessions are both opportunities to further develop skills of self-reflection, self enquiry and sensitivity to the Knowing Field and working phenomenologically.
